London’s Leading Sash Window Specialists

Traditional design, with modern performance

We manufacture all of our windows and doors in-house, in the UK and they are designed to combine traditional, period aesthetics with modern draught proofing systems, locking mechanisms and double glazing to give you the best quality, traditional style, long-lasting windows.

We have spent years honing the design and quality of our windows and doors to bring us to the point now where, we believe, we can offer our customers the highest quality product combining aesthetics, traditional style, insulation, longevity and more.

Our surveyors work with you to ensure you are getting the exact service you need. Your windows and doors are then manufactured at our workshops by skilled machinists, bench joiners and glaziers, with James our Order Processor keeping you updated every step of the way.

We have an experienced team of installation staff who understand the challenges of carrying out window and door installations in Victorian and Georgian properties in London.

From first call to fitted windows: how we work

Replacing your sash windows is something you’ll only want to do once, so we keep every stage clear and keep you informed from your first call right through to the day your windows are fitted — and beyond.

  1. Get in touch — You contact us with what you’re looking for, and we arrange for one of our surveyors to visit your home at a time that suits you.
  2. Home survey — Your surveyor comes to your property, talks through your requirements in person, and takes the measurements and photographs needed to price the work accurately.
  3. Your quote — Within one to two working days you’ll receive your quote by email. If there’s more than one sensible option — different glazing, finishes or approaches — we’ll quote each one so you can compare and choose.
  4. Confirming your order — When you’re happy to proceed, you pay your deposit and we confirm every detail of your specification, from ironmongery finish to paint colour. We set it all out in a written specification document for you to check and e-sign, so there’s no ambiguity about exactly what we’re making for you.
  5. Final survey — Our joinery surveyor, Adith, visits to capture the precise measurements, detailed photographs and manufacturing notes our workshop and installation team rely on. This is the level of detail that lets a handmade window fit your opening perfectly.
  6. Manufacture — Your order passes to James, who looks after it from here. He’ll give you an estimated completion date and keep both you and the workshop updated throughout. Around two weeks before your windows are ready, he’ll be in touch to arrange your installation dates.
  7. Installation — One of our own teams of employed installers fits your windows — not subcontractors — working carefully around your home and finishing to a high standard.
  8. Guarantee and aftercare — Once your installation is complete, we provide your guarantee and register your windows with InstallSure for an insurance-backed guarantee and, where required, with FENSA. Both send your documentation directly to you for your records.
